MOTIVATIONAL FACTORS IN INFLUENCING THE INTERNATIONAL TOURISTS TRAVEL TO TOURISM ATTRACTIONS IN PENANG

The generation of international travellers is no longer considered a barrier to tourists visit places interest during leisure time. Travelling about learning, knowledge, and thinking channels. However, most will not travel long distances efficiently, contributing the lack in tourist visits. This study aims identify motivational factors driving Penang based on motivation, characteristics, sociodemographic. three objectives prompted investigation. First, demographic characteristics Penang. Second, explain motivation want 'seek knowledge innovation' main thrust that drives generation. Third, determine attractions can attract tourists. A set questionnaires was used obtain quantitative data. questionnaire distributed total 370 were around data obtained as analysed using SPSS software. results explained these consist young people aged between 21-20 years. Next, there significant relationship sociodemographic characteristics. push factor, 'desire seek innovation,' factor brings Penang, attraction 'cultural historical' possessed each state.
